A fun, memorable evening filled with murder, mystery, great food, and fun. Join this years’ “Midnight at the Masquerade” Murder Mystery Weekend hosted by Hummingbird Inn. Are you clever enough to figure out who did it? If so, you could win the GRAND PRIZE of a free night at Hummingbird Inn!
2019 MURDER MYSTERY THEME: MIDNIGHT AT THE MASQUERADE
The theme for this year is Midnight at the Masquerade. Think of the movie “Eyes Wide Shut”. Dresscode is Blacktie/Formal (ball gowns, tuxedos, etc.) and elegant masks to hide your identity.
Costumes are required for all players!
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Friday (11/15)
The afternoon starts with guest check-in for all guests followed by the Meet-and-Greet Wine & Cheese Party from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. This part of the weekend gives you a chance to meet the other players in a casual atmosphere. Guests will be treated to a selection of wines and light snacks while you get to know (and size-up) the other players – one of who is going to be found out to be the murderer!
Saturday (11/16)
After the custom 3-course gourmet Hummingbird Inn breakfast, guests have the day free to enjoy all the area has to offer from great shopping, museums, hiking, etc. At 4:00pm the main event begins. Guests will arrive in their full costumes for the evening as the game kicks off with a cocktail hour in the Guest Parlor. Each guest will be given their roles and information about the character they are to play for the evening along with some information and clues to get things going. The cocktail hour is followed by the 4-course gourmet seated and served dinner in the dining room and the game continues through the rest of the evening.
GRAND PRIZE
If you prove to be the best detective and can figure out who the murder is – as well as where/when/how they did it, you win a free night at the Inn to use at a future date!

- Ticket price is $160.00/person and includes the following:
- Meet-N-Greet Wine & Cheese party Friday evening
- Ticket for the Saturday night Murder Mystery Event/Show

For this Special Event, we are offering a discounted rate on all rooms. There is a 2 night minimum required. Additional nights can be added and will be available at the reduced rate.
*A limited number of tickets are available for locals who do not require accommodations.
