Discover Hummingbird Inn

Since we opened our doors in the summer of 2017, Hummingbird Inn has rapidly become a featured attraction and destination when traveling to the Eastern Shore. The stately Queen Anne Victorian mansion was built in 1887 and earned its place as one of the most striking structures in the town. In 2004, the house went through a multi-year historic renovation to implement a modernized infrastructure which includes central air conditioning and heating, HEPA air filtration throughout the building, and new wiring and plumbing providing our guests with a truly comfortable stay.

Situated on one of the largest residential lots in the downtown area, Hummingbird Inn has been meticulously landscaped with some of the most stunning gardens in the area. Our six spacious en-suite guest rooms – each with their own unique design – provide guests with the ultimate comfort and luxury. The Inn is within walking distance of downtown, has a private off-street parking lot with the only EV-Charging station in the downtown area, is Dog Friendly, and the property is available for private events for up to 150 guests. Your stay also includes our 3-course award-winning gourmet breakfast carefully designed and created by in-house Chef Eric.
