As a dog owner, it can be extremely difficult to vacation and enjoy time away from home knowing that you have to leave your pet behind. If your travels take you to Maryland, however, take comfort in knowing that Hummingbird Inn is welcoming to everyone – including your beloved dog. Our dog-friendly B&B in Easton is open to all respectful and properly socialized dogs, regardless of size and breed.
Being animal lovers ourselves, we are excited to open our Inn doors to you and your four-legged friends. While there are no restrictions on the breed and/or the number of dogs you can bring during your stay, keep in mind that some of our guest rooms are smaller than others. Just let us know that you will be bringing your dog(s) when you make your reservation and we can happily make a few room recommendations based on the number of pets you will have with you and their size. Our goal is to make everyone as comfortable as possible.
During your stay at our dog-friendly B&B in Easton, MD, you’ll find that most of the community is dog-friendly, as well.
Several local restaurants will even welcome your dog onto their outdoor patio when you stop in for lunch or dinner. On the days that you want to explore the town on your own, however, we encourage you to take advantage of Hummingbird Inn’s convenient dog sitting services. Your dog will be happy and entertained while you enjoy your day guilt-free. Dog sitting must be pre-arranged. The price for this service is $15 per hour for one dog and $10 more for each additional dog. Sitting hours are between 6-10 PM however special arrangements can be made outside of these hours with sufficient notice upon request.

DOG GUIDELINES
If you plan to bring your dog(s), you must notify us at the time you make your reservation. We do not restrict the breed or number of dogs (some guest rooms are smaller than others), breed, or size. There is a $25.00 fee per dog, per day.
Dogs may not be left in guest rooms or vehicles unattended. If your dog will not be with you, please let us know and we will assist you with on-site pet sitting ($15 per hour for one dog, each additional dog is $10 per hour). Dog sitting must be pre-arranged. We have a list of dog-friendly restaurants in the area as well. Dog sitting is not available during any public or private event at the Inn or on any local or federal holidays.
You are responsible for your dog(s) behavior. Our dog-friendly B&B has an outdoor grassy area where you and your dog are welcome to play. Please clean-up after your dog on or off property using the provided trash receptacle. Dogs must remain on leash, or under owner command, at all times while on Inn property.
Dogs are permitted in all common areas of the Inn, except for the guest dining room. We provide a bathing area, with hose and towels, for dogs who love to romp and swim at the beach, roll in the dirt, or just need cooling off during the warm summer days. Feel free to bring your dog’s favorite blanket or bed.
